The intelligent hydraulic system S.H.S. (Smart Hydraulic System) interacts continuously with the on-board computer A.I. (Artificial Intelligence).
This combination of highly advanced electronic technology and a sophisticated, but simple, hydraulic system, delivers performance and versatility that breaks the rules. It represents an evolution not available from other manufacturers, with power supplied “on demand” by two variable displacement axial piston pumps.

The lift cylinders incorporate an automatic energy recovery system which acts as a shock-absorber, providing outstanding stability when boom lowering stops suddenly and when starting or ending digging operations.
In addition, all cylinders are equipped with an integrated hydraulic cushioning system which eliminates bumps and consequent shocks on the whole structure when the pistons reach their stroke end.
Precisely and promptly following the manipulators’ strokes, the on-board computer enables the operator to get exactly the response he wants: outstanding controllability and simultaneity of movements.
Unique among all main competitors, the NEW HOLLAND KOBELCO E385 E385B machine allows the operator to “continuously” use the Power Boost function so that he can work without problems or interruptions until the job is finished!
